Kaunas Comics Residency present Finnish artist Evangelos Androutsopoulos who has been working on comics projects while living in Kaunas since July.
Interested in poetic and experimental narratives Evangelos Androutsopoulos is using images for creating rhythm and improvisation. He’s been developing his work to new possibilities in storytelling and exploring abstraction in narrative art.
On July 22nd Evangelos Androutsopoulos is holding a comics and risograph workshop “Falce Memory”.
Unreliable narrators, misunderstandings between people, old age memory loss, RAM memories and artificial intelligence. We hear stories all the time. But are they true?
The workshop will take place @ Kaunas Comics Residency / KG Press Studio & Shop (Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. 68-14, Kaunas) on Sunday, July 22nd, 12pm – 6pm.

Evangelos Androutsopoulos was born in Lappeenranta, Finland. He lived between Finland and Greece throughout his education. In 2006 he enrolled at the University of Athens to study history and self-published his first magazines. In 2011 he moved to London and now is constantly traveling between Helsinki and UK.
